I feel the same about alcohol. I'm usually drinking only about 4 days per month, and the amount I have when I do is smaller and goes a lot further. Sometimes less is more, and I generally have more fun with less alcohol when I drink less frequently.

I feel like aging kind of makes that happen on its own as we get caught up in our lives. Countering it takes some effort to put some time aside for friends. VR is helpful for spontaneous hangouts, but also just making and keeping plans with friends regularly is a great way to help.
