Howard, I know you and many others are rolling in your graves. And rightfully so. It is insidious & shame & sheer slap in the face that your death and the death of many gay men and queer folks are no longer acknowledged.

“People Collide” is so weird and so wonderful. I couldn’t put it down. Imagine Maggie Nelson meets “Freaky Friday”. An insightful, tender, funny, and utterly compelling novel.

There are Palestinians, queer and straight, who are living with HIV, and need the medication and care they need and deserve, Sir Elton John. This isn’t us being selective, it’s about acknowledging that Palestine is a queer & trans issue.

suffering is something many of us will go through given the world we live in, and I at one point believed that I wasn’t going to make it to 30 (especially surviving a suicidal attempt in early 2025). I simply wish tenderness and peace towards everyone. if you are here, I’m happy you are here.

A splendid collection of stories. A tender portrait of humanity in its vulnerability and poignancy and humor through the guise of the relationships we have with the people in our lives.

I turned 1 the day you left this world, too soon, an infant, too young to understand, but the one thing I never forgot was your voice, hearing you sing them those songs and that music. I’m glad your life and legacy and memory is continued to be forever immortalized. siempre te amaremos, reina.

found this throwback photo of myself as a kid in my favorite 90s t-shirt in a full-size frame. this is very much my personality, and I like that.

In a world where there are not many examples of (queer) Latinx men doing incredible things, there was you, Pedro Zamora. It is especially bittersweet that you are not here with us, and you should be here. I’m thinking of you and your legacy today.

Congratulations to Kendrick Lamar on his 9 Grammy nominations. “GNX” is a spectacular work of art, and a record we will be reflecting and returning to time and time again. “GNX” was/is my record of 2025.

I’m a sucker for a great opening sentence, the sentence that sets the tone for any book you are about to be fully immersed in. I still can’t stop thinking about this novel.
