"there are no stupid questions"
And I took that personally.
Don't blame Nintendo, they're not the problem. Nintendo games that aren't connected to The Pokemon Company aren't like this.

But I agree on the idea that I expect more from this series than what they're putting out.

And then when it works, suffering from the implication that you aren't the first to use one of these magic books

Have you considered playing Fantasy Life?
It's one of my favorite of the genre because there's more of the adventuring that gets you stuff to bring home and decorate with.
I've also liked the older Rune Factory games but that series seems to be struggling recently.

$8 is $10 if you know the word "frugal", but to everyone else $8 is $5.
That's why people have to be taught to budget by their parents or in a home-ec/early math class: human intuition is bad at it.

Man, you unlocked core memories for me just now! I'm glad I wasn't the only one.

I'd count it, but I am not much of a genre purist.
The score markers wrapped around the board strongly imply "Euro game", but I always thought they had a lot of overlap with war games.

Now I want to see someone make a wargame alignment chart where 40K and Risk are on opposite corners...

Very interested in seeing your lap times between Boost Snaking and just boosting as needed to maintain the Bulk Star's top speed

People said the same thing about the automation of manual work in the 1950s.

Lol still valid! I've been noticing a ton of new ideas and mixing from different styles of RPG since WotC's series of fiascos convinced a lot of players to look at and try other systems, so I'd be very interested to see someone break down how these systems are evolving in this new environment.

This is what I get on the internet to see. I'm very curious about where you draw the lines between generations and how you define them

For anyone who hasn't played it, this is a compliment.

For them? It will never be too much because it's never enough. Our suffering and our deaths are part of the cost benefit analysis, and not as a cost.

For us? I'm really hoping that the general public is getting close to as sick of this as I am.

I cannot recommend finding indie alternatives to all your favorite old games enough.
There are people who love those games just as much as you do and are making the sequels you always wanted, just go find them!

I mean Starbucks unionized a year or three back so anything's possible, but we're under a very similar kind of federal government.
We've seen large scale resistance nationwide so the possibility of a general strike exists, but I worry about how they'd choose to respond.
