This country is gone. We can never go back to what used to be considered normal. Moving forward, if we can, will be a tough job, and our spineless worms in Congress will never be up to the task.

When I retired I was paying over 300 to park on campus and couldn't even use my spot on game days because they sold it to visitors.

The core educational mission gave way to bringing in lots of money. I watched for years as caring about actual student education was replaced by how many seats they could fill as tuition went up and the quality of education went down. And this doesn't include the push for research bucks.
