It should matter what's happening to your grass, what your office ornaments are made out of, or what the legal justification for killing alleged national threats is. Incompetent managers don't care about these things.

I know this is a bit of a hypothetical question, but it does tie into a concept I've read about and experienced before. Ineffective managers are incurious and unconcerned with details.

Anecdotally, I believe religious exemptions for beards are pretty rare. I've seen a few Orthodox Jews but no others. I think this Norse/Pagan comment is odd and not rooted in reality.
