Elliot and Twig (unrelated, as far as we know)
Elliot, a middle-aged orange cat, is laying on a blue bedspread. He's got one paw tucked under his chin and the other stuck out in front of him, making him look like a lounging human somehow. Twig, a young dilute orange boy cat has claimed a box that used to contain cans of Pringles. He'sitting in said box and appears to be pleading with his eyes to the human behind the camera to please not take his new box out to the recycling bin quite yet.

A very large black dog with white splotches on her snout and paws is laying on a sofa with her long back legs extended towards her front parts. Elliot has loved those chairs since he was a tiny guy, too. Eventually we started just scooching him back a little and sitting in front of him. He usually protests a bit then settles in and shares.
Elliot, a medium-sized orange tabby cat, is napping on the seat of an office desk chair. His rear legs are tucked up close and his tail is wrapped around them. His head is resting on his front legs. This is one of Elliott's favorite napping spots, as evidenced by both the claw marks at the front that he makes when climbing up on it now that his old legs don't jump so good and by the later of orange and white hairs that has accumulated on the seat.

Like if you can find the baby praying mantis

Allison stole my hard-sided Trader Joe's bag.
Allison, a small gray and cream-colored tabby cat, is sitting in a hard-sided Trader Joe's bag with orange fabric handles. One of the long sides of the bag takes up most of the frame of the photo. It has a whimsical design with a robin's egg blue background that looks like a sky with an old style airplane and a big cloud in it, but there are big vegetables in the sky also, like a turnip and a beet. The vegetables are bigger than the airplane but smaller than the cloud. Only Allison's head is visible, sticking out above the side of the bag. She's looking at the camera, mildly annoyed that the human taking the photo keeps trying to get her to look at them for a photo op when what she really wants is to further explore this new bag she's found on the human's bed.

When I asked, it said they're not sisters, then goes on to describe a situation that would have made them half-sisters (same mom, different dads), then states that this means they're step-sisters. 🙃

My boys Elliot and Goose getting in on the bathroom cat action in their own weird ways
Elliot, a medium-sized orange tabby cat, is laying on the floor in the back corner of a stand-up shower (the kind that's not a bathtub, just a shower). Goose, a dark-brown tabby cat, is standing up very tall on his hind legs on a bathroom sink with his front paws on a little glass shelf above the sink. He's stretching up as tall as he can to look at himself in the medicine cabinet mirror. The sink and the shelf are messy - there are toothbrushes in a cup that's tipping over, a toothpaste tube tucked behind the faucet, a Q-tip container open on the shelf with it's lid off and resting on a basket of hair doodads. The mess is our (Goose's humans') fault, not Goose's.

Ursa, Allison, Tango & Twig

If anybody needs me I'll just be over here waiting for my takeout and crying about this dog adoption flyer made by a local elementary school student.

These are the three people from PG&E's bizarre new ad campaign which consists of video ads in which PG&E bigwig are shown trying to reassure PG&E customers that they (PG&E) is doing things much safer now, and the PG&E customers remain unconvinced, even by the ends of the videos.

Twig has found an entire bundle of mini zip ties so his weekend plans are sorted if he can manage to successfully liberate them from my bedroom. So far the cat flap is not cooperating.
Twig, an light orange and white cat who is currently small because he's still kind of a kitten, is playing with a bundle of multi-colored mini zip ties held together with a rubber band. Zip ties are Twig's favorite thing in the whole world, so this is an amazing find for him. A close-up of Twig, a small cat that hit the jackpot this morning when he happened upon a bundle of mini zip ties one of his humans had stashed on a shelf and forgotten about, carrying the zip tie bundle in his mouth as he attempts to push a transparent cat door open with his paw. He usually just pushes through the cat door headfirst, but he tried that already and it makes him drop the zip tie bundle. He's determined to liberate his prize from the bedroom, where the human owner of the zip tie bundle keeps taking his picture, which Twig suspects is a precursor to the human confiscating his prize zip tie bundle.
