Yes, and a Burger Queen, too.

Jim was extremely active philanthropically in Louisville and in Fairdale via his Burger Queen, Druther's, and later Dairy Queen restaurants. He loved sailing. He was a friend and mentor. He will be missed.

Jim started with our companies in the late 70s, when we were still Burger Queen, stayed with us after our rebrand to Druther's, and rose to become Executive Vice President of the company. He then moved on to become a Dairy Queen multi-unit joint venture partner with us.

Druther’s has been a sponsor of the World Affairs Council of KY & So. IN for years. Our vice president @brianjeasley.bsky.social serves as the Chairman of the Board. The nonpartisan nonprofit, one of 90+ WACA Councils, has been Louisville's International Center for 80 years.
