I’m not going to happily go along with this again in January of Chuck Schumer and a handful of moderates are just going to throw out all the hard work we did

My family made the financial sacrifices we did with the promise the senate would hold the line and defend ACA. Both my senators did hold the line! But the party leadership completely failed us and if the democrats expect us to keep going along with this I expect changes to be made.

If you truly believe that then what was the point of the past six weeks? Why did democratic senators ever withhold their votes? If there was never any chance why didn’t the democrats just roll over in the first place and let the paychecks keep flowing?

Well then you’ve got two months to figure out effective messaging for the families, like mine, if have gone without paychecks for six weeks on the promise that the temporary pain would help protect the ACA. Because I’m much less eager to accept another shutdown knowing they’ll just cave again.

None of these Democrats should enjoy a moment's peace.
