A giant red wolf named Jól crouches in a ready position. With a toothy grin, he addresses one of his students out of frame, Briar, with a wager: “Next batch of lemon tarts will be on the house…ONLY if you can knock me flat on my tail.” Lore Bit: Briar is notorious for restraining themselves when sparring with good ol’ Jól. Whether it’s from fear or lack of motivation; it depends on how the wind blows that day. But, it is known throughout Silvergrove that Briar has a ravenous sweet tooth. On rare occasions, Jól will wager a pastry that briar loves as motivation. Whether Biar is successful or not, there’s at least a sweet reward for them at the end of the session.

it’s a little inaccurate to what i drew in the pictures, but maybe something like this
a sketch of a village built around a river, viewed from above. the main section of the village is on an island in the middle of the river, with more buildings built on the outer shores. the large building in the middle of the village somewhat resembles a tulou. the area is surrounded by cliffs.

I'm Zoe, I mostly paint fantasy illustrations, and I love cats.
There's a figure standing upright, with its face covered by a thin, dark fabric dissolving into a swarm of insects. The figure wears a hat with a golden replica of one insect and holds a golden ceremonial knife it's using to slice its palm open, releasing yet more of these insects. The bugs are black and golden, winged and have large open jaws. A botanist with a love for felines gently reprimands one of his cats for the latest mischievous deed. A dark skinned woman stands in front of a broken blue stained glass window. She’s crying but has a somewhat serene expression. The woman’s skin is crisscrossed by cracks repaired with gold. She’s surrounded by wilted flowers. In her hands are two lively swallows made of light. The light coming from the birds swirls around the image, giving life to the previously wilted flowers. On the back side of the book cover we see two more birds dancing around a broken vase, they too are reviving flowers with their light. Sunset scene with a painter fully engrossed in his work. My method for not burning myself out while drawing is to have multiple pieces at the same time. When I'm stuck on one artwork I can switch to the other and still make progress. Even if its just one little brush stroke. This way drawing became more casual.
