Cinderella Gray was a great show, but comparing it to the manga, I can't help but feel like its edges have been sanded off.
The manga feels raw, edgy, animalistic even, while in the anime, it feels like everyone had a "Keep them cute" sign hanging above their heads.

The fact that there's a very real possibility that I won't be watching Re:Zero S4 because they've apparently decided to rush through its most beloved arc really wasn't on my bingo card but here we are.
In truth I'm actually not handling it super well, it saddens me a lot, but what can you do

Not a big fan of those past few silent witch eps, Vol 2 has been pretty rushed, it's a shame.
Not everything should be Kusuriya paced but giving a longer volume than usual only 4 episodes is somewhat setting it up for failure.

It's been interesting to see White Fox outsource Ugly Mug so much, as outsourcing there has been rare recently, though I suppose it's not all that surprising that they'd throw this one to the wolves?

I'm trying to stay hopeful regarding Re:Zero S4, I was pretty satisfied with S3 even if it did struggle a bit near the end, so I hope that the big break they're having right now will allow them to recover. Also helps that they're not doing much else right now (they threw ugly mug to the wolves)

Kadokawa did buy Doga Boko recently, and with Oshi No Ko having to end eventually... I'm wondering if there's any chance Re:Zero might end up there? Would be odd, but I suppose nothing can surprise me anymore.

The way Kusuriya builds on itself is honestly really impressive, tons of little details, previous events, building up to these episodes where everything slowly fits into place and everything is recontextualized, it's truly great.

Re:Zero S3 EP10 was a really strong showing, was a lot of fun to watch, the core team isn't that big, but it's clear that they're giving it their all despite the schedule getting pretty tight.
