What do I think about EVs? The clue is in the name.
2035 will be the first year of a big change.
Even those being electric it doesn’t compensate for the harm that that coal mine does to nature and climate.

On the one side, it is to be seen how the truck behaves with a depleted battery, and on the other side it depends on electricity vs. petrol price.

Well after many years of the different EU countries treating Europe as the litter bin for politicians that aren’t a positive asset in your own country, who expects something different.

That coupled with an EVP that thinks that acting like the far right parties will give them the far right votes. 🤮

What has nothing to do with everything.
As of now the other two bigger car markets have not timely ban on combustion engines.
For now the only I see is the second of the Detroit big three following the steps of the one that has already left the stage.

Different cultural backgrounds different interpretations.
🤷‍♂️

Didn’t know about that, I wasn’t that much into US punk in the 70‘s and 80‘s.

Yep, space 4 will not create much revenue. 🤪

Deutschland Deutschland über alles!
Is one phrase of the nazi Germany national Anthem. 🤷‍♂️

Only because now it’s enough, it doesn’t mean that it will be enough in 5/10 years. To charge all those trucks on European roads, you will need a better charging time than 45-60 min.

Just sayin!!

Nice.

A standard that can reach 3000kW compared to CCS that is currently stuck at 600 kW but not continuously at most. Yes, completely overrated.

Never been in the USofA and if this idiocy continues I will never be there. Maybe I take a glimpse from the Canadian Border.

We are in November and they haven't reached half of that. With an increasing amount of PHEVs and with 45% of all the registrations being done by the BYD dealers themselves.

So yes, I don't care much about 800% increase YoY, and more about not reaching goals that were dum from day one.

Kind of satirical. I use to post the top 10 band and models in Germany every month and now and then I post about one specific Brand.
BYD said in 2024 that this year they would reach 50.000 registrations in Germany.

Even more strange as you can start the charging and pay with the Elli app.
December 11, 2025 at 3:25 PM
From what I‘ve seen those are HYC1000 with MCS/CCS mixed dispensers. So there is no urge for the MCS trucks to arrive.

Directly from the German KBA, kind of the German counterparts of the British DVLA.

All Data from them is freely available and easy accessible, they have monthly reports within the first week of the month, and other more in depth reports take longer.

And BP/Aral Pulse is starting to build MCP Stations for trucks in Germany and the UK.

Another month and another disappointment from BYD in 🇩🇪.
4026 new BYDs were registered in November from which 61.7% by their own outlets.

YtD is 45.1% of their total registrations are fake ones.
Others doing as bad are:
- Chery
- Deepal
- DS
- GWM
- Lada
- Lexus
- Togg

Las redes sociales no las han de comprar, ya son suyas.
Alphabet, Meta o X, todos ellos están siempre con su amigo Trump.
