While End of Evangelion does end on a weird note to me, the choking part, it still felt like a more fitting end to me when I watched the series, and later on the movie.

I remember watching the movie and feeling like it's a much less jarring ending somehow. The sudden good ending felt wrong, it felt like Shinji's mental problems had been fixed instantly by a talk with the people around him. As a person who is similarly self-hating and depressed, it felt cheap.

It makes it despicable, I haven't been watching the Eurovision for a while, but I remember hearing about the time when they literally played/edited in (can't remember which) cheering for the Israeli contestants, because the audience booed them, shit's dystopian.

True as hell. They care when it's White people killed (and I am not trying to lessen the suffering of Ukrainian people), but when it's Israel literally doing a Genocide, they don't care.

I know, which is funny to me too, but can at least be kinda excused because it's still part of the Commonwealth? Iirc it's something to do with which countries are part of the European Broadcasting Union. Either way, Eurovision is nice to watch and wish for your country to win, it's not apolitical

I find it kinda funny that the original idea was for the Protagonist to be a victim of some mass Embrace, and even though they changed it to be about an Elder/Methuselah, the structure is still more fitting for a Fledgling, with all those fetch Quests.

Generative AI isn't JUST bad because it steals art (let's say that this isn't the case here at all, because VAs agreed to it), it's enviromentally destructive like practically nothing else! And also there is the normalization you pointed out.

This is such a mood. I remember some YouTuber ridiculing ppl, saying smth along the lines of "Oh, but some ppl hate Arc Raiders for it, because apparently AI Bad even if everyone involved agrees!" and like, yeah, it IS bad even if everyone agrees!

Which could be a thing about how being "childish" and liking stuff for kids is seen as bad. An adult can enjoy a show that's aimed towards younger audiences.

Especially, if not mostly because of the Psyche/Shadow divide, I feel like you would need a very competent and trusting group of players. Though if you don't, that can be alleviated via having the Storyteller play the Shadows, or have a player who only plays the Shadows.

I finally watched a video on Wraith, ngl, it seems amazing, from Worldbuilding to the concept of playing both your own character and a part of another (VtM is still my favourite WoD game, but this seems awesome), but I could see why people are really intimidated to play it.
