So really. If someone says they're not having kids, don't pry for a reason. Even if you're family. It's genuinely always a personal thing and there's always a chance it's sensitive.

There ALWAYS a chance for the reason to be infertility. Even if they phrase it like "I'm not having kids". For me, part of the reason IS potential infertility. Even my mom was baffled when I denied considering being a surrogate for her.
