I really love the idea! I would opt for something other than a pixel font. I really love pixel fonts, but things like the T are really hard to read.

This would be a perfect game menu intro. This shot slowly lets the moon slowly descent until it is in the center of the screen, brightens and then some sort of cyberpunk inspired ninja jumps on the roof in front of the moon and the wind blows the gown and then the game title appears.
