Underwater scene of a school if four fish (Moorish idol (Zanclus cornutus)) swimming in front of a large sea fan, with conch shell on seafloor below (lower left corner)-black, white, yellow, blue, green (y+b) “Signed, titled and numbered in pencil. Inscribed "del.sc.et imp." Here we have a superb impression printed on a very thin japanese paper. The margins are full. The condition is very good. (The sheet is attached at the four corners to a sturdy support sheet. There's a subtle, small printing wrinkle just to the edge of the image at the upper left corner.) Norton was born in Chicago and studied at the Art Student's League and the National Academy of Design among others. She was instrumental in the founding of the Palo Alto Arts Club in 1921 and she was a member of several printmakers Clubs and their associated exhibitions.”
