Month three – got ill and learned how the healthcare system actually works. Work still has its ups and downs.

But I've settled in and built a decent routine. Money's working out fine. Getting out of the house more, though still not as much as I'd like.

Month two was about adjusting to work. And that's... not been easy. New jobs are always tough, but this one's especially challenging. I've been more stressed and overwhelmed than usual.

Registered at the health centre, waiting for a GP appointment to get my regular prescriptions.

Month one was all admin and settling in. Opened a bank account, figured out the postal service, got used to supermarket shopping. Joined a gym and kept up my regular workout routine. Started work.

6. Also, the gym has a proper leak problem when it rains. I won't say the ground floor is flooded, but there are drips and puddles everywhere.

5. I tried so hard not to step in the water. Failed completely. My trainers are thin fabric, basically useless. Everything flooded through instantly. Feet soaked before I even started working out.

4. Drivers were genuinely considerate though. Slowed down to avoid splashing pedestrians. Really lovely. In Israel this would absolutely never happen.

3. I walked to the gym yesterday with my umbrella. Rain was fine, totally manageable – until that crossing.

2. Except one spot on my gym route. Right at the crossing, water pools up like crazy.
