Looking forward to giving this talk live online tomorrow at 9am PST (12pm EST; 5pm UK). Tune in if you're intested in any of the following:
* Cancer evolution & mathematical oncology
* Spatial stochastic processes
* Evolutionary rescue theory
* Selective sweeps
* Quantifying phylogenetic tree shape
I am very excited to announce a new online seminar on Mathematical and Computational Modeling of Cancer (MCMC). The first speaker is Rob Noble (City, University of London) on “Understanding, predicting and controlling stochastic cancer evolution”. Join us on Tuesday, March 4 at 9am PST.

Do you like trees? Fancy quantifying tree shapes in terms of diversity, balance, average outdegree, etc. so you can compare them with each other or with models? Even if they have very different leaf counts? And accounting for branch lengths and polytomies? We have an easy solution for you.
