Writes, talks, listens, reads. Not always in that order.

That's great. I'd love it if, in time, we could get wheelchair access to the gym. At the moment it's just by stairs with an unfortunately positioned image of a wheelchair user at the foot of them. I appreciate resources are limited but the current layout definitely limits who can use the space.

Not done one for a while. This was my last in 2022. He still visits. We locked the doors but it was no good.

Sometimes, when faced with the awesome majesty of the natural world, one feels an urge to leave, like Ozymandias King of Kings, some marker in eternity of one's eye-blink human life.
"I was here. I defied Nature, I made my own rules. I was known. I shall be remembered."

A writer writes. Absolutely not about the process of getting a film made.
Garth Marenghi: I know writers who use subtext and they're all cowards.

Had a roaring and howling time in the audience for Consumed at @sheffieldtheatres.bsky.social tonight. So close I could smell the potatoes. Very funny, very moving. See it if you can on tour. painesplough.com/productions/...

I have a lot of time for Bryan Ferry but I reckon we're now fast approaching the moment where he needs do something more than dancing about with Jerry Hall to make it worth Steve Coogan's time to play him in a biopic.

I am mistaken- this is a Paulless set of McGanns. Looks like Mark, Stephen, Joe L-R.

It's a flattering pic of Joe.

Pleasingly, the Wordworth Classic version of Shelley's The Last Man went for a Friedrich cover.

Oh, there it is. You don't want to see all the other nonsense around it.

Keep getting a targeted ad for China Crisis. They look like a pair of Keir Starmers.

This composition by @robotwig.com uses an artfully posed, staged and lit action figure. It is absurdly well done. Apparently a lot of visitors to the exhibition it's in think these works are computer generated. It's all human craft!

It's me, Heron Carvic, BBC radio's first Gandalf. You may also recall me from a missing episode of The Avengers, as the Morpho brain voice in Doctor Who, or as an author of cosy crime books. I'd hoped to be remembered for my direction of Shaw at the Theatre Royal, Bristol but you don't get to pick.

These dupes have bought into the revisionist "Scooby Doo should be hyphenated" fallacy promulgated by various non-canonical extensions to the original 1969 series. They can not be trusted.
