That said, you're absolutely correct. Without primary reporting from feet-on-the-ground reporters, the internet would collapse within weeks. We don't value journalists enough, and TikTokers and other video streamers who think it's okay to steal work are due for a huge AI wake-up call. 2/2

Surprisingly, I saw exactly the opposite the other day. The Financial Times did an article on bars in Washington and the reporter stole the entire schtick from spiritedla on Instagram, and missed some of the best bars (allegory, Silver Lyan). 1/2

Oh, of course! And it's fun word to say! He just published a book of the same name, which describes a specific way in which the digital platforms have evolved, providing excellent value to consumers, locking them in and reducing quality in favor of business, and then eventually screwing them too.

It's spending hundreds of millions of dollars in "training" as gifts to your corporate cronies, underfunding hospitals and education, and removing speed cameras and bike lanes.
