my middle mouse button sticks a tiny bit now and cleaning it out didn't seem to fix it. you'd think that would mean just getting a new mouse but nah I'm just gonna accidentally middle click stuff for a year or two instead

I like when people like things and I know it's rude to tell people when they're liking things wrong but, if you know how much money a movie made and that matters to you at all, you’re engaging with movies wrong.

I agree this move sucks and you shouldn't change the terms of a deal so directly. But the framing here: calling ~$1 a site price gouging is so silly.
This is why I think unlimited licenses are always a trick. Not quite as bad as lifetime, but still never really real.
