I can't listen to Crocker - even leaving aside his allegiances. He talks way to much and get far too excited far too often over very little. Just a voice that grates on you. The great commentators of the past let the action do the talking, Crocker doesn't know when to shut up.

In my time we've had some really good teams - Billy McNeill's of the early 80s; Tommy Burns team - great to watch but you still weren't relaxed until you went three goals up!

Martin O'Neills Celtic team was the only Celtic team i've ever seen that could comfortably defend a one goal lead - domestically at least.

The economic rise of Asian countries is inevitable and no amount of murderous huffing and puffing from the US will change this. European politicians just can't shake off the colonial mindset - as their ironclad support for US/Israeli 'activity' in West Asia proves. Talk about backing the wrong horse

A common trait amongst many of those who attend 'elite' schools is that they never really grow up. In adulthood but still acting like mischievous schoolboys, they have the world-view of adolescents (generally from the 1970s). Groomed for power yet having none of the skills required to exercise it.

Would it matter if Labour changed leader? Their problem is one of substance, not just style.

If it wasn't for the minimum wage, hospitality workers would still be on £5 an hour.

Corbyn is a great campaigning politician but he's not a good leader. He should leave it to people like Sultana.

Italy had a great team as well. Many thought they weren't able to do themselves justice in the final after their epic; exhausting semi-final against West Germany.

Europe always has to be Celtic's yardstick. If the Desmond's don't understand or agree with that then there'll always be a rift with the support.

Allowing asylum seekers to work would end so many of these issues. Concentrating so many people in one place just gives the far-right a focus to protest. If they lived and worked in communities people would see them for what they are - just people wanting a better life.

And much like Israel, Putin wants Trump to give him territory Russia can't win on the battlefield.

This very week the govt changed the presiding judge on the Palestine Action case to ensure they get the verdict they want. If that doesn't underline why we need to oppose this legislation, then nothing does.

Mervyn King was once quoted as saying that The Bank of England didn't want MP's understanding how the money supply actually works incase they went on a spending spree and the MPs that do know don't want voters knowing incase they became more demanding.

Military procurement is the type of racket organised crime gangs could only dream about. Billions of pounds of contracts pocketed, with zero culpability when the equipment doesn't perform as promised (which is pretty much always). Actively hurting the troops health is an impressive new low.

Roma are kicking on under Gasparini - they certainly look like serious title challengers this season. Having said that i watch a lot of Serie A and i don't think the general level is as high as the other top leagues. I'd fancy us getting a draw on a good night.

The Good Friday Agreement set the principle that the North of Ireland could have new referendums at seven-year intervals. There's no reason why the same principle shouldn't apply to Scotland.

I'd say the same when someone you know is seriously ill - you think you're intruding but the opposite is true, people are happy for the emotional support. You can't expect people to react to these things in the way that you want but you definitely do remember the efforts that are made.

Since the 70's the productive base of the UK has been hollowed out in favour of extractive finance, not to mention public services being stripped to the bone. So no, nothing like the 1970s.

Plastics are as big a problem to the environment as fossil fuels. Like the oil industry, the plastics industry have known about the environmental destruction their products cause for decades, and covered it up. Fuckers should be in jail.
