Google and Apple control the operating systems and app stores used by the phones. How are you going to stop them reading and collecting what's on the phones? These guys buy governments, as you know well.

Convenience is not worth the social programming it enables.

With respect Mike, that's looking backwards. I don't want my grandkids developing any kind of relationship with an algorithm because of what they say or write on their phones. We grew up without phones; they can learn the workarounds too.

Don't give the kids smartphones. That'd help.

Pulling the red thread will unravel the whole jersey, including the Trump elections.

Palantir will go through the APNR records to assess where you have been, confirm it with the cops' facial recognition system, and debit your bank account automatically. Just go back to sleep - it's all in hand.

Looking forward to it.

In a heartbeat. They know what sells in that market, and I want to earn money, so I will take their advice. I can also try some other outlets with the original.

Boarding school is where you learn what society punishes. A teacher tried to enforce a better standard of behaviour from Farage, and was ignored by the school. Is Farage racist? Duh. Should he apologise? Double Duh.

All this to say Putin is under enormous pressure to show a win, so he is putting all his creatures in the West into the fight. So if the EU shows willingness to fight (and take out Putin's helper here) I think Putin can be forced to withdraw. But it's a big if. 8/8

Against this, the Russian economy is collapsing. Oil is 40% of its income, and the present price is two-thirds of what it needs. Putin is increasingly unpopular at home, he can't find Russian men to fight, and Ukraine is increasingly able to hit long distance targets. 7/8

...congratulating him on the Miss Universe competition in Moscow, apologising for not being able to meet, and inviting him to the Kremlin next time he is in town. Also, Boris Johnson has emerged from whatever hole he's been hiding in to muddy the waters again. 6/8
