OK classicist and literary types: best modern translation into English of the poetry of Catullus?
I took a Latin class on him in college (in the 90s), and seemingly there was no such beast, everything being highly bowdlerized still. I'd hope that the intervening 30 years or so has seen progress?

First Christmas season in the apartment (this is a good thing).
This is far earlier than I normally would decorate, but I want the tree up for a while to ensure a certain Toolbox will not engage in any gymnastic shenanigans (she already tried). No ornaments until after Thanksgiving!
