He's trying to make this all about him. Even this...I will not have it. I will not allow that bloviating walrus to flop his decaying carcass over this so all we see is him.
My sincerest condolences for the loss of your friend Harry.

Mood for a Day is a belter for sure. I can't be doing with all that Clapton smug blues stuff.
December 15, 2025 at 11:08 AM
I started trying to play The Clap in 1986, still haven't mastered it properly.

Same again from the wee man at the Ethiad would be nice wouldn't it.
December 8, 2025 at 10:44 PM
That's ok buddy, we'll muddle along as best we can without you.

...until he gets The Commanders to name their stadium after him, then he'll change his mind back again.

This is just who FIFA are unfortunately. We toiught things were bad during the Sep Blatter years. Over the next couple of years Infantino is going to make us think of Blatter's institutionalised corruption as charming.
The profiteering will be legendary.

See you sometime next week then.

If there is a good thing come out of this circus it's hopefully so many more people will see what a corrupt org FIFA is. A lot of normal people, quite understandably think of it as a benign football regulator. They have been a shameful embarrassment to football fans worldwide for a very long time.

Can confirm an approximate 15 minute fascination window for one of these things.
I had one, don't even know what they're called.
December 6, 2025 at 1:27 PM
Very much so.
December 6, 2025 at 9:03 AM
Believe me, we are.
December 6, 2025 at 7:07 AM
And to think we all thought Sep Blatter was bad. Next year the corruption will make the Blatter days seem like bliss.
December 6, 2025 at 7:06 AM
I'm beginning to think Donny doesn't know the meaning of the word 'hoax'.
December 6, 2025 at 7:04 AM
He really is.

The corruption at this World Cup will be lagendary. I've never missed a world cup, I've overlooked FiFAs corruption & lies for years because I love the game but no more. During the tournament I shall be watching the likes of Salford vs Lincoln in the Vertue Trophy & I'll be much happier for it.
December 6, 2025 at 7:01 AM
Agreed.
December 6, 2025 at 6:50 AM
& the draw was done by men from other sports when it was taking place in a city with some of the best female footballers in the world. Also Roberto Carlos was right there in the audience.
FIFA has long been a source of deep shame for football fans. This world cup will be the most corrupt ever.
December 6, 2025 at 6:48 AM
I know this isn't really the central point here but before presenting the award Infantino said it was "on behalf of the billions of football fans worldwide".
I know it's petty and pedantic but I'm taking every opportunity this morning to state for public record that it is not on behalf of me.
December 6, 2025 at 6:42 AM
Infantino said that is was "on behalf of the billions of football fans across the world"
I would like to state on public record it most certianly is not on behalf of me.
December 6, 2025 at 6:38 AM
It is a horrible organisation, always has been. FIFA has been a source of deep shame for all football fans for many years. They have just found likeminded bedfellows in the Trump administration. The corruption around this World Cup will be legendary.
December 6, 2025 at 6:36 AM
FIFA is corrupt to the core, has been for a very long time. Infantino is just a symptom of that corruption. The fact that FIFA didn't even try & clean up it's act after Sep Blatter is telling.
FIFA is a stain on world football and a shameful embarrassment to football fans everywhere.
December 6, 2025 at 6:32 AM
It's embarrassing isn't it? I can't watch it anymore, I'll wait for the BBC to tell me how Scotland and England get on, just to spite Trump.
