Japan has these, but they are very public transit oriented.

It's also to do with not being allowed to own a car unless you can park it off road in a lot of Japan. Japanese houses are usually small without gardens, so having a tiny car means that you can park it, so you can own one. Alternatives are stacking car parks where you can rent a permanent space.

Excited to award my stepson the "FIFA Tidy Room Prize" with special commendation.

Back in my Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham Boys' School days, we used to be driven in an ancient Duple Vega to Crystal Palace for swimming.

The bus driver drank copiously from a bottle of Teacher's.*

Mr Deakin, the teacher, couldn't believe what he saw. Still the journey was quick.

*Appropriately.

I'm one of 3 kids and we went on a 2 week summer holiday in a Morris 1100 Mk 1.

What would you think the key features of an all-terrain vehicle are?

Hmm, JLR would like a word.

Being in a band trains the spatial awareness required to squeeze 15 impossibly shaped objects into an impractically shaped hole.

I bet Terry Nation was in a band to have come up with The Blue Box.

Depends what you photograph. Any branded phone for the last 3 or 4 years will take good wide angle pictures.

As soon as you say zoom, you are limited to premium.

There are plenty of compacts, but personally I've settled on a Panasonic Lumix TZ90 which has a 30x zoom. Not perfect vs DSLR but.

Definitely not. Main role in edgy film does not equate to powerful acting.

Bit to keen on the lovely Tin-Tin for my liking.

I have an example a couple of hundred yards from me where the only indication it is shared use is an arrow on the road pointing at the pavement and an exit arrow to the road. Note conflict with bus stop

Explain those legs and body to the left of the policeman- oh, and bloke looking towards camera has a very AI face.

I'm waiting for, "Why isn't the White House a 68 storey hotel, then all the Epstein Ballroom guests can stay the night. We can put Maxwell in charge of 'room service'."

I was somewhat perturbed by Pizza Guy gaining entry without a key using a novel lock picking routine last seen on Deep Space Nine.

As prophesied by Thunderbirds, e.g. the road building wonder without an off switch, the Martian Probe launch which fell of a bridge and had no off switch for the launch sequence, or the monorail without an off switch barrelling towards broken track.

If you visit Wroclaw in Poland, you will find hundreds of brass gnomes.

These are in celebration of the resistance movement to Soviet oppression. The resistance dressed as gnomes - the Orange Alternative (Hmmm?)

It amazes me how unnecessarily violent police are. I wonder what the stats are for injuries caused by the arrest of people on minor misdemeanour charges?

Meanwhile in the UK...

See this example of fine upstanding British citizens represented by Round Table from the 1980s. Table naans from Adils?

If you've got a few feet of roof above which you don't want to open up, they work a treat. The loft has two 18" pipes running down from the roof.

At night with lights on, it creates the impression that there is an occupied loft space, but our roof is barely 6' at the ridge, so not convertible.

We did similar. House was extended but they left a weird corridor and useless space.

RSJ & hammers later, made a big welcoming hallway.
