Pay someone else (nanny, day care etc) to sort it. Failing that, every time they eat, loo, every time they drink water, loo. Every 20 minutes, loo. It's exhausting, but probably only need a week or so of it.

Ha! SA doesn't focus on test cricket at all. We play the ICC Test Championship matches, and that's it. There will be no home tests in 2025. Imagine if we actually tried 😉

The other side to this coin is that there appears to be diminishing returns in LLM training. Each new LLM release is only a small incremental improvement on its predecessor.

To put it simply, the hyperscalers are overbought and underbuilt.
Too many GPU's, not enough power (and cooling) to run them.

And because of the cooling and power requirements of the new Nvidia kit (the NVL72 GB200 clusters), new data centres or extreme retrofits of existing data centres are required.
New data centre cooling and power systems had to be designed to accommodate the new clusters.

Would say the key to survival is frugality, keeping debt low (interest payments killed GC), and being close to break even (Amazon announced its first profit in Q4 2021, 2 quarters after the crash.)

The biggest losers in the internet bubble were the overinvested infra companies (GlobalCrossing, Level3, among others). Amazon survived and thrived post bubble. GC and L3 barely survived, merged and that entity sold off in parts.
