Day 4 at @BigEarsFestival started with Ikue Mori and Zeena Parkins’ Phantom Orchard, followed by the Susan Alcorn Tribute featuring Mary Halvorson. I saw the supergroup Fieldwork (Tyshawn Sorey, Steve Lehman, Vijay Iyer), and ended with Nels Cline Consentrik Quartet.

Day 3 at @BigEarsFestival was a blast! Kris Davis Trio, Wadada Leo Smith Revolutionary Fire-Love, and his duo with Vijay Iyer. Following that Sylvie Courvoisier’s Chimaera, Tyshawn Sorey Trio, and ending with Jenny Scheinman’s band with Julian Lage, Nels Cline, and Bill Frisell!
