Vibes Aren’t Everything. They Are the Only Thing.
To survive in this political environment, Democrats must stop thinking and start feeling.

top half, solutions are expensive and difficult. So the real takeaway isn't "individual rights don't matter," but "voters want the party to swing big on economic and health care reform."

I'm an idiot and I can figure that out, why can't this cadre of professional fools put it together?

to fund. This chart, meant to reorient dems, puts in competition ideas that are not in conflict with one another on a policy or messaging level. Why? It's moronic to do that. For nearly every item on the bottom half of the chart, the solution proposed by dems is cheap and easy, and for the... (5/X)

It would SAVE the taxpayers a ton of money for medicare to live in a world without ICE, or if they weren't constantly paying out settlements for police brutality! Even if these issues aren't as consequential for day to day life, they aren't issues that require a wealth of taxpayer resources... (4/X)

So of course voters want dems to prioritize them. That doesn't mean the things lower on the list are less important. It's about perspective, coalition building, and amount of effort. It costs the taxpapers virtually no money for trans people to have rights or gay people to get married... (3/X)

Average voters are idiots! Im an idiot! I dont know how to solve our problems, I vote in people who agree with me on what the problems are and do the best job working together to solve them.

Our gutless congress is entirely comprised of leaderless schmucks only good at getting elected, not leading.

Writing my dissertation and YouTube channel on games from 2020-2023, I grew to only play games for work. I took a long break from gaming after finishing the diss and am only now remembering how to play for just fun. Consuming media for a job can be a real head trip.

Like no offense, but it's a fucking nightmare just existing as a trans person. It wasn't anywhere near as bad back in the mid 2010s.

I remember you, come along with me, and escape the citadel always make me cry huge tears (for very different reasons tho).

my favorite "kind" of episode is the surreal concept, like jake the brick, ghost fly, james baxter, hall of egress, puhoy, etc. Prefer those usually to the big narrative ones
