Got this commission done this morning. It's one of the most detailed things I've ever worked on so I'm looking forward to it getting the usual two RTs and six likes.

Finished inking three, count 'em THREE, ch. 4 pages at work yesterday.
Here's one of them that I'm quite happy with (even though the 2nd photo is kinda blown out). I think they're all solid pages, but I tried a new compositing technique on this one, and it worked PERFECTLY (looks good+saves time).

Found a location for a "Vampire Hunter Alone" chapter that takes place on a frozen river, very pretty area in the fall. I'll need a hard freeze to happen to get all the shots I need though!!

A smattering of projects and project parts that have been worked on in the past week: book cover I illustrated for a friend, a VHA Ch. 4 page that got inked, a Ch. 1 page that got a revised layout (courtesy of the husband), and thumbnails for more pages!

I cannot believe I managed to ink a car with a brush.
When I started getting Very Serious about drawing twenty years ago, I had a very unsteady hand. It's still neat, for me, to see things like hand-eye coordination improving at age 37.

Despite potentially having marker refill issues (brainstormed solutions and work arounds with the husband) I did get a page of ch. 3 colored and I think it's got a great look to it. Looks just like an old Disney animation storyboard!
