I used to say the same. But, a lot of time has passed & I don't "blame" anyone.
They're just comics. They're entertainment. I try to enjoy what is there.
I have my preferences & favorite eras, but I no longer get angry.
The only thing that angers me is how unaffordable new comics are to kids.

Imagine listening in on every petty, inward comment, yet outwardly saying the opposite.
It's a juxtaposition of his feelings, powers, thoughts & past, while hearing everyone else's inner thoughts vs their words.

I still say that Wally is my Flash. Barry should've stayed dead. Not sorry.

Barry became a hero out of duty and, yes, wanting to help people. As an adult. He liked it.
Wally became Flash as a kid.
Wally became Flash bc Barry was his hero. He loved it, BREATHED it.
