Sadly this isn't true, the AARP's fact-checking department needs a boot up the bum. Until checking I thought I had a gold mine in the back room.

San Francisco goes all-in on Halloween, both adults and children.

This is still my favourite costume, by a British mate on the year of Brexit.

In position for the @archive.org celebration of one trillion pages saved for posterity, a superb achievement. Tonight should be fun and fascinating, and if you haven't signed up for the Archive you're missing out on an amazing resource.

You know you've arrived in New Jersey when the rest stops are named after local heroes and the smell of White Castle is much in evidence.

Black Hat is done, now it's time for the final con of the week, and probably the best.

I think "fabulous" is overstretching it a bit, but the first night is always OK. By Saturday I'll be begging to go home.

There's a great street party on Front Street at the moment and the best Indian food I've had in SF.

No wedding like a Cal Sailing Club wedding, when the bride sailed herself in wearing the dress.

OK, this is rather good. May have to see this - the original was fun and, after Derry Girls, Liam Neeson is showing his comedic skills.

Starting on donating my 13th gallon of blood, it has only taken 30 years or so.

Please donate if you can, it's desperately needed and it's just a tiny prick. Make your own jokes about that.
