I did something similar using QT and Ruby for the inaugural Google summer of code in 2005. You could write all your code in ruby using QT objects and reload in realthme without any compilation but it was super fast

I worked at a restaurant once where the chef made his own tartare sauce of which he was very proud. A woman once commented on it and said he was trying too hard and should stick to master foods. I passed on the feedback because I like to live dangerously. She was right too.

Note that the federal Government is not financially constrained. The tax cuts may well be a good idea, but so are all the various social programs. The government can AFFORD both. Indeed spending can increase capacity and thus be deflationary

I find it even more frustrating because federal tax collection is the *end of the transaction*. The federal government spends money into existence then taxes it back afterwards. The "tax dollars" fallacy perpetuates the idea that rich people do more for society because they pay more in tax.
