I reread your essay. It's got ties to recent developments with the hype machine known as AI in the form of DeepSeek. Lowered activation energy for a pathway big business now deems the future path. I'm no capitalist cuck but BYD was exposed by the Brazilian government for this human rights violation. Doesn't excuse Hyundai for using child labor in Louisiana though. This whole neolib system is just rotten to the core.

Speaking from first hand experience in the army, it's also filled with crazies who talk about fragging their asswipe officers if war breaks out, and going AWOL afterwards to protect their families or sailing to Japan/China.

While he promptly corrected his slip by saying "girlfriends" after. Maybe it was his way to shout out the ~10% of conscripted men who are serving as LGBTQ+ in a very don't ask don't tell environment. There was a controversy then about MSM soldiers being prosecuted even for relations out of base.
