from immortal legend batman #3, the ? symbol that appears means there's a riddle you can solve as Batman makes his way through the story and answers the riddles. They won't tell you the answer outright, so you can either figure it out on your own, or continue reading the rest of the issue to find how batman came up with the answers! It's one word answers, and there are gonna be 3 lol easy enough right? the first riddle. "The question of victories; From what toxic source has the great legend sprung? Speak it now, speak it loud (in meek coward's tongue)" what lies behind the door to give more direction to this very riddle? i'm sure whatever it is will be easy peasy. what the actuallll fuuuuuuuuuu-- okay fam, so this has to do with the first riddle from the previous image. The image itself has immortal batman with sharp af batwing standing over detritus of a ruined city, there's some kind of dead creature behind him as bats fly out across the sky. Survivors, of which there are 3, are peeking out and around the detritus below Batman's form. Around the image, there are patterns of what look like scantron, and randomly interspersed symbols that look like "u" 🔛♦️💧🔻☀️🔚^⭕️⚪️▪️ and backwards and forwards trapezoids lol i would fail riddler's riddles so hard fam.

i know i said i wouldn't be buying any more comics until next year but...i nearly cried in the comic book store when i flipped one from a series i've been collecting and clark was sitting in bruce's living room with his kid ;;
loook at himmmmmm!!! look at how Cristopher Reeves they made himmmm 💖💖💖😭😭😭😭😭🥹🥹🥹🥹Clark just casually sitting in bruce's livingroom whilst jon immediately asks damien if he misses himmmmm 😭😭😭 jon is hugging damien in the top of the cut-off panel. Clark looks fondly at bruce and says "Thanks for asking us up, Bruce. I was surprised to see the invitation." Bruce replied "Damien misses jon." "After the sacred heart piece, there's something I'd like to talk to you about." IM IN TEARS! BRUCE NEEDS CLARK SO BADLY IN HIS LIFEEEEE This next page shows clark noticing that Bruce still has Ra's chess game set up and Bruce responding that it felt unfinished and that everytime a new threat happens or Damien starts keeping secrets he gets paranoid and thinks Ra's is still pulling the strings. Clark asks why Bruce really called him and Bruce shares that he wants Damien to be a normal kid, to have friends and a real father, to have a normal life even with being Robin (which damien doesn't want to give up) because Damien is way more sensitive than his other kids. He doesn't want to screw it up, especially now that Alfred is gone. Bruce tells clark he doesn't know how to do this, then asks how clark does it. *WEEPS A RIVER OF TEARS* After having a heart to heart on the balcony back home, clark asks if bruce wants to go check in on the kids (because damien wanted to introduce jon to his new friends, these kids that work with batman sometimes to give him info about things most people ignore.) they see jon and damien as super(man, now) and robin, watching them have fun as jon tosses his friends around lmaooo and Clark says "gosh, they are such beautiful kids, aren't they?" and bruce agrees "they are." "They all are." Clark responds "None of us know what we're doing, Bruce. We just take what we were given and try to pass on the best parts." 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

close up of jason's face. i gave him a little scar :D i also really like how his eyelash turned out close up of dick's face, but really what i'm most happy with is the way the blue and red strands of hair came out lol i spent so much time on jason's holster/gun, but it gets lost in the rest of the image. it doesn't help that the kid wears black/grey under his brown jacket lolol I am also happy w how his mask turned out! this was good practice.

overall i enjoyed the story telling even if i didn't like the idea of bruce being [REDACTED]. he deserved better. And now, some favs:
