Campaign group against HyNet greenwash. Don't believe the HyNet hype. #BlueHydrogenIsntGreen
The article cites a study by Tom Terlouw, Christian Moretti, Carina Harpprecht, Romain Sacchi, Russell McKenna and Christian Bauer published by Nature Energy. Scientific studies inform our viewpoints on hydrogen. You evidently don't understand the laws of thermodynamics. Stick to water conservation.

Why the backtrack on your #FossilFreeCareers pledge @wrexhamuni.bsky.social? Thoughts @peopleandplanet.bsky.social?

Advocacy in favour of #CCS predominantly comes from #BigOil majors including #BP, #Shell and #HyNet partner #Eni, along with the #CarbonCaptureAndStorageAssociation which disproportionately represents the fossil fuel industry and has consistently engaged with the government since 2008.

Instead of paying #HyNet and #Eni £22billion to develop #CCS, the government should be funding more renewables, upgrading and expanding the energy grid and investing in #ElectrificationInnovation so high carbon industries like cement and glass manufacturing can go green.

#CCS is a boondoggle and #DESNZ is taking a "high risk approach by backing unproven technologies with large amounts of taxpayer and consumer funding" so the fossil fuel industry can get out of jail free. #EdMiliband should #StopFundingCCS now.
