So I'm watching the lies, the denial, the wishful thinking, the culture war, and the economic illiteracy with fascination since I'm along for the ride either way – and I've got a family history of high blood pressure to watch out for.

Once this circus collapses it will leave a black hole in the world economy, unveiling the camouflaged US recession en passant.

But what can I do except avoiding further exposure to its effects by stopping investments into overvalued AI-heavy indexes (aka US of A; this is no financial advice).

Corporations aren’t people and they’re not attacking anyone in particular. I’m trying to choose my words carefully for professional reasons but not using a welcoming language towards a trillion dollar corporation that is being a jerk is certainly not a CoC violation.

I don‘t mind redesigns and even leaving the Copilot nonsense aside, GitHub‘s web UI has become barely usable over the years.

Nooo it’s beautiful! My partner who didn’t want to join me on Mauna Kea went there right away after I learned it finally erupted from the Maine Kea rangers. The whole island was anticipating it! Now she’s sending me cool lava pictures while I had to look at boring telescopes 😭
