We've been having a convo about languages and how people mimic the accent of their teacher / surroundings. As someone who taught English to themselves I wondered who I'm mimicing and according to my friends I just have autism™, lmao
Me: I learned English on my own, what does this mean WHO DO I COPY Corey: You just sound autistic tbh Asthrid: I love how Sena speaks English though. Sniv: Senglish Corey: No it's nice to listen to but if you asked me to determine where Sena was from I wouldn't be able to tell you bc I just hear the autism 😭 Me: LMAO. I love this. -You've got an interesting accent, what is it? -It's the 'tism, M'lord Asthrid: 'tism m'lord had me chuckling Corey: You speak English with a very sort of generic European accent but then your tone emphasis is very similar to other autistic people so you end up just sounding specifically autistic and vaguely European Asthrid: That is true! We all need to go on a call one day and the native American and English speakers can tell us what we sound like.

Not necessarily healthy but fed is always best.
One of the simplest recipes I have that has helped me get through my lowest are spaghetti with lemon-cream chicken.

Bonus: waffel recipe, they go perfectly with strawberries 🧇🍓
Creamy Lemon Chicken Best served with a bowl of spaghetti Ingredients: Chicken Fillet Heavy Cream Lemon Juice Sauce Thickener Salt & Pepper Step 1 Cut the fillets into chunks, throw them into a deep frying pan and roast them with some oil until they turn a light golden color. Step 2 Add heavy cream and fresh lemon juice. I usually use about half a lemon per 500ml of heavy cream, but if you're unsure add a quarter first and try it. It's not supposed to be too sour, but have a nice lemony flavour. Step 3 Add salt, pepper and any sauce thickener, and cook it on low heat for 10-15 minutes. This recipe is great for low energy days, as it is quite quick to prep and cook, and is very filling as well. A slightly lemony creamy base also allows for improv and you can add mushrooms or veggies if you feel like it Waffles Best served with butter and fruit Ingredients: 300g Flour 180g Sugar 200ml Milk 180g Butter 3 Eggs 2 tsp Baking powder Vanilla extract Lemon zest Pinch of salt Step 1 Sift the flour and mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) Step 2 Melt the butter and mix wet ingredients in another separate bowl (milk, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract). Make sure to add the *hot* melted butter to *cold* milk before adding the eggs to prevent them from scrambling. Step 3 Slowly and thoroughly mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. I recommend using a hand mixer. Step 4 Add a generous amount of freshly grated lemon zest. Use a waffle iron to bake each waffle for 2-3 minutes or until they're golden.
