My new herringbone weave blue apron dress. Wool with linen straps, and three panel construction with three gores. A ribbon of silk decorates the top edge. Very pleased with it.

My good friend gave me the 1st Chronicles of St Mary's book for Christmas. I read it in a week! Loved it. As an historian and costumer, I would definitely be on the wardrobe team! Just gimme the chance to go back to the Viking age to see if we rebuilt Coppergate correctly.

Visited Burton Agnes Hall in East Yorkshire, and the Christmas decorations were just magical; creative, beautiful, using natural materials from the estate.

I am pleased about this. It's about time. I have fond memories of Weston super Mare from my childhood.

I forgot to add our most famous resident, Bogar, still on the toilet, now with added snow.

My workplace has a winter theme now. This is not an edited picture, we really have put snow on the ride at Jorvik Viking Centre.
