...statues of Ty'isa being erected around the entrances to the town to signal it should stay wild and not be reclaimed. Obelisks are usually constructed on nearby roads to tell the story, as well as give ample warning. 7/7

These ruins are still considered dangerous as it is in the heart of where the old monsters still roam and breed. Monster Hunters do not waste their time clearing the land as there are scattered populations that need their help when a monster roams.

These ruins were often left with messages to warn wanderers of where the population went, many of them surviving today as small pillars of stone. These messages continued to have cultural significance in Marazian culture and are shown as massive obelisks that mostly immortalize stories. 5/

...These Proto-Marazians fled south to the coasts of the Vinecoasts where it was relatively safe. Monsters still came and the Berserker Curse still forced them to live in extremely small communities. Until through Ty'isa's magical intervention, Va'karya was born. That story is for another time. 4/

...in Marazia are different. These ruins were abandoned due to an event in their history that created the geopolitics as it is now. The Betrayal of the Old Gods. The Old Gods of this realm were corrupted and set on a mission to destroy mortal life, seeing them as locusts consuming the resources.. 2/

...obvious, but the holiday's main purpose is for reflection on multiple levels. Self-reflection, societal-reflection, and other introspection that can be done through meditation or through group discussions. This is a holiday of philosophy and wisdom. Learning about yourself as much as others. 3/3
