Indeed, the errors become more and more obvious.

Ironically LLMs is termed as "contextual search" haha

That's fair, I think that's the second issue.
While I can appreciate their transparency, it doesn't make the work more palatable.
November 27, 2025 at 4:08 AM
I think transparency beats avoiding the conversation in terms of long term credibility.

So yes, I'm fine with their honesty, but no, not keen on the use to begin with.

The idea in PR is to let the brand gear the narrative, not the public. Which is what they're achieving here.

Overall, calm experience with far far far less bloated features and a far smoother less cluttered workflow.

For my next experiment, installing my old font and improving image masking (a bit different than Adobe)

On performance settings:
Was a bit disappointed at first that Affinity froze my system when I was switching exposure etc.

Found out there's some settings to change so it doesn't use your CPU in that way, which was nice, but I was surprised.

Lol yes 😂
I think the animation for me is the worse of their use, because of how unnecessary it is, and thus, cheapens the whole package.

They could have just pulled a darkest dungeon.

A shame.

I land here too.
Speaking with my copyrighter friends, that have to use AI in their job, they'll even speak to how important it is to get translation and copy right, having an AI can sure, help, but you NEED a human for context and editing at the very least.
November 26, 2025 at 3:41 AM
The animation is specifically what bugs me, because it LOOKS so obvious.

I can't help but think still images would have had the same impact, minus the stigma.
November 26, 2025 at 3:39 AM
I think I land in a similar place as you. There are parts of this, that feels tedious for the human Dev to do, and then, sure, AI can support.

I don't agree with the use of AI for animation mind you, that's a shame, and translation, helps but there needs to be a human there, because context matters

Now is my time.
Can't believe I let Adobe abuse the privilege like this.
November 22, 2025 at 12:45 PM
So let's try Affinity.
Don't let me down.
