Really? I guess people are playing them on high Infinite because in my rank I only saw it on friday.
As for me, this is the best I could do and yes, it looks amazing, but it took me over 20 games.

I was going to give up too, but I want Magneto, and I opened two portals, but I got Thor and Ghost Spider instead. No complaints about Ghost Spider, I wanted her too.

Sorry, I was talking about myself. After reaching rank 80, bots practically disappeared; I didn't even encounter the cheaters you mentioned.

Anyway, this was my journey to Infinite:
