Lost science and lost progress hurts us all. Allowing a non-federal employee blanket access to peer reviewed data let's them decide entirely what is and isn't real. And that's not science.

This, specifically, has me absolutely appalled at the state of research computing supported by federal grants.
We are witnessing the death of trillions of core hours of research devoted to improving mankind because a "tech influencer and enthusiast" doesn't understand any of it.

Looking through photos from #SC24, for me, as an enjoyer of tiny objects (ask one of my colleagues about our tiny object collections), the model of El Capitan had me swooning a little bit. Vertiv had a similar model of theirs, and now I want to make one of whatever we fill our new DC with.
