I told my doctor to give my kid her HPV vaccine this year, even though it's earlier than they usually do (but still in guidelines).

I have a 5th grader who is learning to write essays, and this seems on par or a little below what she tends to produce
For college? Redundant, solipsistic, and tautological in that it never addresses obvious challenges (did God make non-conforming men and women wrong? Why would He do that?)

It's really exposed how little elites - especially Republicans and conservatives - care about core American values.
They are STILL carrying water for a guy with an approval rating in the thirties.

My grandmother, we have no idea. Unlike my grandfather, there's no record of her citizenship. Based on things my dad said, we suspect she did it 40 or 50 years after she arrived, probably when my grandfather started getting social security and they wanted to make her eligible.

In the 1920s this was filing out a form in a port overseas, getting on a boat, getting a series of gigs as a laborer, elevator operator, and a YEAR LATER signing a form at an office where he told the king of England to eff off.
Boom, citizenship done.

In the pandemic, public health couldn't use phones to trace because of this.
But also they could have used commercially available location tracking and ads on phones to alert people to exposures - but didn't because tech industry didn't want people to realize their privacy is so compromised.
