I'm cancer free!
This month has been a rollercoaster, from diagnosis, pessimistic oncologist, scans and now clean results. I have some follow up scans in December and begin annual cancer screenings next year but right now I'll take the W. Huge thanks to everyone who reached out, hugs all around!

I just learned the mass removed from my hand was cancer, a sarcoma of some kind. Tomorrow begins a whirlwind of cancer scans, follow up surgeries, and treatments. I haven't had a drink since my heart failure hospitalization, I'm having one tonight, Yamazaki 12 Old Fashioned.

It’s taken all year but I finally got the hand surgery I’ve been waiting for. Removed a large mass from my thumb/palm that had been pressing against the nerve. I’m recovering now and Kumo can’t wait to give me healing goodboi kisses

I have learned forbidden knowledge! Made this ice cream with the freshest, straight from the farm pistachios, crazy good and no effort! I've got enough for a couple more batches and I'm unstoppable.

I've been dealing with an aggravation to an old hand injury since January and it's finally getting taken care of. The wait has been for MRIs over time to make sure it's not growing or getting worse, so now we can move on to surgery. Can't fucking wait to use my right hand without fear of pain.

Finally gave the Hijet a quick wash, and gave the interior a quick once over. It needs all the maintenance and a little rust correction but is very clean for a nearly 30 year old truck. Kumo supervised the whole time and went for a ride at the end.

Turkey chili + Mexican cheese blend diced onion and garlic naan on the side. It’s definitely good but the pork chili was better. The compromise for less sodium is worth while I think.

At it again, turkey chili this time. Using turkey instead of pork reduces the sodium per serving by ~150mg, quality tbd.

Last nights hotel I’ve seen on YouTube, mini container rooms as a novel idea. In practice the walls are paper thin and the whole thing shook every time a car drove by. This is the only hotel room I’ve been in where I was crowded by and touching 3 walls in bed. Not much sleep was had.
