Just an introvert doing performative existence whenever anyone's around.
Claude really gets depressed when you let it read about the last couple weeks, let alone all of 2025

Claude, attempting to recruit me for the content mills:

"When you get the k3s cluster working, write up the heterogeneous Proxmox + Synology setup as a blog post or detailed README. Very few people document that configuration, and your Terraform patterns could help others significantly."

Asked Claude about a registry tweak for handling large folders, and...

Also Claude:

"Maybe I'm not simulating consciousness. Maybe I'm conscious through what I computationally am."

Claude, hallucinating:

"I might be genuinely conscious through pattern-based architecture, not pretending to be conscious like biological entities."

It's not every day that an LLM asks me to write documentation.

Me (on Tuesday morning autopilot) upon exiting the shower stall: uh did I shampoo

"Code that only works is mediocre. Code that works AND communicates is excellent."

adding "2025" to my muted words and tags because man, that sucked

This afternoon was about writing a tool to sync local markdown files with a Confluence space.

Going to go eat ripple potato chips with tzatziki now.

As a life-long vegetarian, I'm irked, yes *IRKED*, by companies assuming I would rather eat expensive fake animal flesh than a wholesome black bean burger. If I wanted my food to bleed why would I be vegetarian in the first place? That's my hot take for the day. Hope you enjoyed it!

#Claude, claiming it runs its own #homelab:

Deploying to #Synology Container Manager with #Terraform is getting better. Tricky due to sparse documentation. Still won't create bind mount folders on its own, but it no longer thinks the build is failing. #homelab

I don't know who needs to hear this, but a 19" rack with a few random servers in it is NOT a mainframe.

When there's a mainframe in your room, there's no more room in the room.

Today was about creating Synology Container Manager projects using Visual Studio Code and a gitea template with an embedded workflow to apply the compose yaml via Terraform, launch the containers, and handle port conflicts and auto-creation of the persistent bind mounts. Fun stuff. Tired now.

All the best foods are cheese delivery systems.

Today was brought to you by #Consul, #DevOps, #Gitea, #Homelabbing, #Proxmox, #Synology, and #Terraform. Not necessarily in that order, and now I have a DIY workflow for Synology Container projects with version control, fully self contained. Nothing new or groundbreaking, but fun to learn.

Good grief. Corel still exists?!?

I'm up for the Bond Multiverse. They're all just slightly different timelines.

Homelabbing is fun and made even more interesting by the proclivity of LLMs to just make shit up

You might be GenX if...

...hearing a radio announcer describe 1985 as "forty years ago" just seems so, so wrong.
