She managed to pass it the other day, thankfully! All better now, though I'm still not sure where she found it in the first place! 🤦♀️

Hmmm the window throne is certainly her favourite spot indoors, but she loves sitting on the balcony for hours!

If she didn't toss half her cheese on the counter, I would excuse this as an attempt to stretch a limited food budget with little variety in a creative way. Draining, mashing, and seasoning the beans and sausage would go a long way, too. Leave out the sardines and soy sauce. Use something to bind it

Agreed. Then we can deal with terminology. They are "pain au chocolat", not "chocolatine".

I've heard "my brain just hasn't been the same since covid" more times than I can count. I know someone who is sick so often that you can't distinguish any more between a new sickness, getting over the most recent bout, and long covid. Yeah, I'm going to keep masking indoors.

Wow they cover only one Rx? That's evil. Up here (Canada), insurance is usually a blanket "we'll cover 80% [of generic where available]" sort of thing, no interfering with what I'm actually prescribed, no monthly ration. Just before Qulipta I went a month with a migraine+nausea nearly every day 😭💀

I often get doctors confused when they see I'm on Fiorinal because it's such an old drug, but it works in ways the newer ones don't for me. Qulipta may be worth asking about too, my insurance covers most of it and the company gave me a grant for the rest of the cost.
Good luck, fellow migraineuse!

A combination of Fiorinal (ratio-tecnal), Ubrelvy, keeping that eye closed as much as possible (I've thought of buying an eye patch for when I get the stabbing), and the darkest sunglasses I have, along with daily Qulipta (it took a year to get on that). Works within 2-4h about 70% of the time 🙃

That's horrific. Do they also limit you to only one type of medication at a time? Because I can classify my migraines by type, and take different meds based on whether I have visual aura, a band, eye stabbing, nausea. What works like a charm for the visual aura does nothing for the stabbing.

I had someone tell me the other day that ADHD people are incapable of hiding or suppressing their symptoms, that it's a hallmark of ADHD that the outward symptoms are always present. I would have laughed but was too busy masking.

He has been working towards today's victory nonstop for years. There isn't a more hard-earned or well-deserved seat in the Commons. Fantastic groundwork by Fanjoy and his team. I hope the Liberals have him teach other candidates in "hopeless" ridings his ways.

Oh dear, then the worst is yet to come. I'm not sure if I would advise for or against being high for that last one, yikes.
