I’d say ~33% is probably the floor. I think that was as low as he got in his first term and represents his base who believe anything he says.

There’s a lot of sense in what you’re saying but it feels like there’s something wrong with the background infrastructure as well - parties has been “Johnsonified” in that they are optimised to win elections but cannot form opinions about what their long term goals are.
