It is really impressive to me how every single one of the songs in the 86 movie are all bangers! Like how to you get so many good songs in one movie.

Had a brain blast about FFVIIR3’s title on the drive back from work. It could be called Reclaim or reclaimer or something like that to evoke the dual themes of Cloud reclaiming his original memories and Sephiroth “reclaiming the promised land.”

This might be my new favorite look for Hinoka. It’s majestic as befits a princess while still fearsome as befits a warrior! And they even worked in her scarf! She’s so cool!

Finished the last issue of Daniel Warren Johnson's run on Transformers. Overall, while it had its ups and downs for me, I greatly enjoyed the ride. Thanks to the team for delivering a fantastic transformers story. Can't wait for October and more awesomeness! #transformers

Based on all the trailers and footage I have seen from RE9, I am really invested in Grace as a protagonist. I like that she acts and reacts to all the horror in a realistic manner. I feel like I would be saying or doing roughly the same things in her place.

Watched the 2000 Escaflowne film. While I preferred the show overall, I really enjoyed the movie. Great aesthetics and beautiful animation. The movie did a good job focusing the themes and character development on Van and Hitomi for a more impactful emotional core.

So here's my hot take of the afternoon. Final Fantasy The Spirits Within is legit good both as a Final Fantasy story and as a Sci-Fi movie. I quite enjoyed it and think more FF fans should give it a shot.

As someone who doesn't play Ever Crisis all that much and has barely dipped my toes into DQ, this goes extremely hard.

Making the Baroness a member of GI. Joe rather than Cobra is probably the single most interesting decision that the Energon Universe comics has done. I really hope they keep this status quo and don't undo it since I like her more as a Joe.

Saw the new Naked Gun with the family yesterday. Everyone was laughing out loud throughout the whole movie. Definitely captures the spirit of the original series. I highly recommend if you enjoy silly slap-stick and word puns.

So everyone already loves the Fantastic Four's theme but for me the themes of Galactus and the Silver Surfer were the real highlights of the First Steps score. Giacchino really delivered on with their themes. Really sold me on the cosmic epicness of it all.
