I like the idea of items interacting with each other from within the inventory! That's something I've been kicking around in my head from playing Runescape so it's cool to see something similar in action.

make selection with scrollwheel or the keys shown in the slots (background highlight). press 'R' to ready/sheathe (golden cursor). if nothing is readied left click breaks blocks. if a block is readied, left click places
