The Times accepts this unquestioningly and runs with the "grinning at her father" line. And that's presented as part of the evidence that his evil ex-wife stole his child who loved him so much.
All around John’s kitchen there are pictures of a little girl, grinning at her father at different ages. “We got on like two peas in a pod,” he says. “Behind every one of those pictures of her smiling and laughing, that’s me joking around. That’s gone.”

He describes how — in his view — his ex-wife weaponised gender medicine to cut him out of his daughter’s life, how his daughter went from being sectioned for anorexia to being affirmed in her trans identity by all the adults in her life except him, how she was given a prescription for testosterone after one online session with a counsellor, and how this was injected by her local NHS GP with no blood tests or clinical evaluation. He wanted to establish a principle that where parents disagree on an issue of such magnitude, both would have a say. “In all of this, I’m up against my ex-wife,” he says. “She absolutely hates me.”

The BBC defended its terrible Panorama episode about ADHD with the whole “concerned parent whose child was diagnosed” angle.

The child in question was a whole entire fully grown tax-paying adult in her 20s.
The programme explains from the outset that our investigation was prompted by an email from a mother who was worried about the way her daughter had been diagnosed by a private clinic.

Her 16-year-old son, Hugo, had identified as female for some time. In recent months he had been asking for drugs to help him transition, something his parents had strongly resisted. Fiona realised he had gone behind their backs to secure a supply of oestrogen. Someone he met on an online chat forum, she later discovered, had even paid for the drugs. "He didn't have the money, so they paid for him to get some black market ostrogen," Fiona said. "He got it sent to a friend who passed it on at school. And he managed to get shots and syringes from an STD clinic." For Fiona, the nightmare continues. Hugo has dropped out of his A-levels and his relationship with his parents has disintegrated. "It is cult mind-control stuff," Fiona said. "They believe that the person trying to protect them from harm is their abuser. And online, people are saying to them, 'We are your real friends, we are your real family.'" The authorities have not helped. After discovering her son's drugs, Fiona called the police, but they said there was nothing they could do. "They implied that we somehow were being abusive for trying to withhold urgent life-saving medicines," she said. Fiona added: "You just feel like your child's being stolen from you, and the person you once knew is being replaced with a stranger. You still love the person inside, but it's really hard, because they seem to be reading out someone else's script. It is so frightening."

According to Starmer, the Greens want to make it legal for everyone except landlords to sell drugs.

In 2002, Wessely scoffed at the idea that two 110-storey skyscrapers collapsing in the middle of a densely-populated city might cause some health problems. He wrote an article mocking "World Trade Syndrome."

I guess all those dead 9/11 firefighters are just doing some hardcore malingering.

By the age of 13 years he had eight diagnoses and nine mental health professionals involved in his care and education. His family doctor, however, felt that the real problem was that the boy was lucky if he saw his parents for more than 1 hour each week, and was sceptical that throwing therapists, diagnoses, and stimulant medication at him was going to help. How will children like this grow up? And what does it mean to think that your behaviour is not your own responsibility, but is because of your brain being wired differently than the rest of your class? Might these children come to believe that they are indeed different-set apart and endlessly in need of support and treatment even as they enter adulthood? -----‐‐--------------------- Pathologising shyness, eccentricity, or sadness does few any favours-neither those who receive unhelpful labels, nor those with major mental disorders who need all the resources and research we can muster.

The medical profession:
Doctors at the British Medical Association (BMA) have condemned the Supreme Court’s ruling on biological sex, dubbing it “biologically nonsensical” and “scientifically illiterate”. The union branch representing resident doctors – made up of around 50,000 medics previously known as junior doctors - passed a motion on Saturday criticising the judgement, which ruled that trans women are not legally women under the Equalities Act. Politicians have said the judgement - which means that transgender women with a gender recognition certificate can be excluded from single-sex spaces if “proportionate” - provides clarity, while gender critical campaigners have hailed it as a victory for biological women. However, the doctors argued that a straightforward binary divide between sex and gender “has no basis in science or medicine while being actively harmful to transgender and gender-diverse people”.

Whence arose the illusions of the monetary system? To it gold and silver, when serving as money, did not represent a social relation between producers, but were natural objects with strange social properties. And modern economy, which looks down with such disdain on the monetary system, does not its superstition come out as clear as noon-day, whenever it treats of capital? How long is it since economy discarded the physiocratic illusion, that rents grow out of the soil and not out of society?
